Irish Seaspray Organic Smoked Salmon and Beal Organic Mature Cheddar are now available for home delivery in the Algarve Area area through the Mercearia Bio Organic Food home delivery service.


Beal Organic Mature Cheddar has a silver medal from the World Cheese Awards in 2009.   It is a hand made mature cheddar made from organic milk and vegetarian rennet and has a deliciously crumby texture. It's fiery taste explosion is what you would expect from a true cheddar cheese.

Irish Seaspray are one of Ireland's leading exporters of Organic Smoked Salmon. Virginia Health Foods in El Corte Ingles, Cheese & Smoked Salmon tasting in Porto

We are delighted to announce that Helen's Crunch and Helen's Seeds for Cereals are now on sale in the Health Food sections of El Corte Ingles Lisbon (Praça de Espanha) and Porto (Vila Nova de Gaia).




Helen's Crunch and Helen's Seeds for Cereals are an exciting new addition to Virginia Health Foods range of mixed seeds and berries. They are Linseed based and are available in the following variations:- Helen's Golden Linseed Crunch, Helen's Linseed Crunch with Cranberry and Almond, Helen's Seeds for Cereals (milled flaxseed with sesame, blueberry and cranberry) and Helen's Seeds for Cereals (milled flaxseed with sunflower, pumpkin, goji berry and chia seeds).

Cheese and Smoked Salmon Tastings in El Corte Ingles - Great Success

Thanks to everyone for turning up to our Irish Cheese and Smoked Salmon tasting event in El Corte Ingles, Lisbon (Club del Gourmet) last Saturday.

Cashel Blue, Beal Organic Cheddar, St Tola Organic Goat Cheese and Irish Seasspray Organic Smoked Salmon all went down a treat and were nicely matched with Portuguese wines by the staff at El Corte Ingles.

Thanks to Pedro, Anabela and all at Eximia for a job well done.

Irish Cheese & Smoked Salmon Tastings in El Corte Ingles

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Beal Organic Cheddar Cheese, Cashel Blue Cheese, St Tola Organic Goat Cheese and Irish Seaspray Organic Smoked Salmon in El Corte Ingles (Praça de Espanha, Lisboa and Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto) on Saturday, Feb 25th.
To celebrate, we are having product tastings in El Corte Ingles, Praça de Espanha on Feb 25th from 11.30am to 8.30pm and in El Corte Ingles, Vila Nova de Gaia on March 3rd from 11.30am to 8.30pm.

Risca Grande Success at Biofach

Congratulations to Andreas, Alfred and the Risca Grande team for picking up 2nd and 3rd prizes for Risca Grande Premium and Classic Organic Olive Oils at the Biofach International Organic Fair in Nuremburg last Thursday.
Biofach is Europe's largest Organic food fair and points are awarded by participants who 'blind taste' the olive oils.

The prizes awarded by Biofach are the most prestigious in the organic food industry.
Risca Grande Classic Olive Oil was brought to Ireland by Casa Bio in 2010. It is currently available in Superquinn and other select stores throughout the country.
